I am pleased as punch to announce that the City of East Providence’s first ever mayor lives in the house where I raised my children. I am also always pleased to support whole-heartedly the Townies who shun city labels.
When I first met Roberto DaSilva and heard of his intentions towards political leaadership, I knew that my manse would fit the bill and the dream. A decade later and here we are – and as long as no one looks too closely at the basement rafters, garage walls or backyard divots the first family of E.P. will bring back the honor and pride the fine old house and city deserve.
